This is a great little breakfast restaurant! Like "Cheers", where everybody knows your name! Great food, great prices!

Staff is awesome and the food tastes fantastic. Portions are huge.

Good morning America how are ya'll? All you folks, blue plate cafe, wonderful family cafe all homemade food, oh my goodness strawberry rhubarb pie, no one has to miss out. Excellent flapjacks, folks working their are down to earth, laid back and happy atmosphere. 5 gold stars for me Thank You for good food and service.

This is one of my absolute favorite places to go! Amazing food, amazing staff and amazing prices! I dont do mornings but you can bet your butt I will get up early just to go here for breakfast!

We love the Blue Plate. The food is always delicious and the soups are out of this world. The staff very nice and friendly and helpful. It is home cooking deliciousness.

My favorite place to go for breakfast on a Saturday! The staff is super friendly, with upbeat attitudes and awesome smiles. I feel very at home and comfortable in this place. It can get busy in the mornings so get there early ... 6 - 7am. If you get there at 8am expect to wait, but the wait is worth it!

Family ran place. Food is always good. Consistent. And get here early by 11 place is packed for lunch. Dinner is not served here. Breakfast n lunch only

I love this little whole in the wall place. The staff know my family and I. They have the best link sausage I've ever tried. The prices are reasonable the service is quick. What more could you ask for in a breakfast/lunch place!!

Typical greasy spoon and not very many healthy options. We order fish and chips and taco salad, the flavor was good, but I left feeling sick to my stomach. Now we did go for lunch. I did look at the breakfast menu and they had some veggie options.

Standard breakfast fare. The buscuits we're very small and the gravy wasn't spectacular. The staff was AMAZING, very helpful and prompt with their service. Prices were a little high but not too bad...

One of my favorite places for breakfast. Small place so there is a wait usually but the line generally goes quickly. And the food is so worth a little wait.

Just a solid, clean, and pleasant cafe. We had a cheeseburger (really good, homemade bun, mountain of fries), a tuna melt (high quality, very tasty, well prepared), and a tuna salad (great size, fresh, well presented).5 stars, we had a great visit

A largely local clientele, in a very unique locally owned breakfast and lunch cafe. Truly a local gem!Food is typical breakfast and lunch fare, but of superb quality, and more than generous portions.Prices are competitive and above all, fair.The staff are simply amazing! Their attention to detail, and fast paced service style is a credit to the industry. You will never see more intentional hustle, ever!Rare, for a restaurant of this type, they have very abundant parking, easily accessed, and off the road.Kudos all around for The Blue Plate.

Best little breakfast house in North Idaho. Family run, great service, great food. Prepare to be pleased. We have been going there for nearly 15 years and never been disappointed.

As a regular breakfast patron of this great place for over 4 years, I am consistently amazed and pleased by the fact the food is ALWAYS served hot (an absolute requirement for breakfast). The quality and flavors are superb. Best restaurant French Toast ever. The service is friendly, efficient and again, consistent. Never disappointed!

Ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast, omelet and pancake. Like that you can order just 1 pancake or 2 or 3 for kids. Staff excellent. Service great.

I don’t often get the chance to go out to breakfast, so when I do the food and service need to be worth the rarity of the occasion. The Blue Plate Café has delivered both on every visit. The staff treats everyone like family. The coffee is excellent and served in GIANT mugs – major points for that alone, and the food is consistently excellent.

Always consistently good food. Family run business. Waitresses are all seasoned and know what they are doing. It's always a great experience. There is usually a little bit of a wait but that's for a good reason.

Amazing! What a tasty breakfast. I ordered the French toast. Also ordered this to split with my kids and normally I have to fight for them to eat. This time I had to fight to keep my own. Lol. It was so good that they ate mine too. I ordered more for myself and my husband ended up eating half of it. Ha! The service was good, and the food was pretty quick. All around it was a great place to be at.

Went here for breakfast with some friends. First time. I was greeted with breakfast... Well not just breakfast. It was a culinary work of art that was disguised as breakfast. And it tasted fantastic. The waitresses were kind and checked-in consistently and one of them was hilarious and entertaining. Exactly what you need to start your day right. Prices were great as well. Stop reading this review and go. 😉

Friendly and attentive service, big portions, reasonable prices, good food.

It has a lot of potential. The french fries are excellent. The onion rings were excellent. The hamburger fixings were pretty darn good but the hamburgers themselves were a bit overcooked and a bit dry. The buns for the hamburgers tasted fresh and delicious. The service was outstanding. Very reasonable prices.

Had the biscuits and gravy with 2 eggs and bacon.... It was ok, gravy reminded me of instant mix and bacon was thin. Coffee was good and service was excellent.

Great local place for breakfast. Busy any day of the week , so you know it's GOOD! Food is delicious and portions are generous. Homemade preserves are to die for.

Found this place last year while on a trip to Silverwood. The decor is grandma kitsch, and my grandma had some of the same plates on her walls. Food is great homemade goodness at very reasonable prices. Homemade jam and jelly in mason jars on the table. Eggs, omelets, biscuits & gravy, plus banana pancakes. Haven't tried their pies, but they sound delicious. Friendly, efficient staff. Many regular customers greeted by name while we're here. Can't wait to be back.

If you're into Ma/Pa typed cooking and atmosphere this is the place for you.Great staff, friendly helpful and Johny on the Spot with service.Food is great, I highly suggest the Frenchy. The portions are perfect, you leave full but don't feel like it's a challenge to finish.Come early, they are a smaller establishment so they fill up quickly but the turn out rate is pretty fast so if you do end up waiting for a seat it usually isn't very long at all.They also do take-out orders.
